| aguma | Re:flarjibbitwort (this isn\'t spam)How do you do variables? | 2008-07-20 | 4:19 PM |
| Brandon | Re:flarjibbitwort (this isn\'t spam)you have an array like this STRIPTVARIABLES(100,2) AS STRING 100 is for 100 variables. 2 because 1 needs to be the variable name, the other has to be the value. | 2008-07-20 | 4:32 PM |
| aguma | Re:flarjibbitwort (this isn\'t spam)but how do I do numbers and strings?
oh w8 nvm ty | 2008-07-20 | 4:44 PM |
| Todd | Re:flarjibbitwort (this isn\'t spam)(100,2) is a matrix. Multi-dimensional arrays end up wasting space in QB if not all the dimensions are used all the time. | 2008-07-20 | 6:08 PM |
| Brandon | Re:flarjibbitwort (this isn\'t spam)so how do you fix it? | 2008-07-20 | 6:11 PM |
| Todd | Re:flarjibbitwort (this isn\'t spam)Unfortunately, QB is the way it is. Using numbers and strings, you can use VAL and STR$ for conversion. Just use strings (since you can't easily represent strings as numbers) and convert numbers to strings. Then make a function that decides if an entry is a number then converts it from a string to a number. | 2008-07-20 | 6:16 PM |
