Unfortunately, QB is the way it is. Using numbers and strings, you can use VAL and STR$ for conversion. Just use strings (since you can't easily represent strings as numbers) and convert numbers to strings. Then make a function that decides if an entry is a number then converts it from a string to a number.		2008-07-206:16 PM
