BrandonMost productive GUI setup?
The machine that you are trying to write a GUI on has a lot of effect on your ability to work efficiently (at least it does for me). The first releases of Fun500 (the 2005 series) where written on a Compaq Desktop with and AMD Sempron 2200+, 512MB RAM, and Windows XP. Luckily the Windows install ran DOS apps pretty well, so I was able to work without DOSBox. After that, I wrote 1.0 and a lot of the 2.0 BETAs on a Compaq Armada E500, P3, 128MB RAM, Windows XP. Later releases were written  on a Dell Pentium M laptop I had, and since then I have had another Armada with Win98 and a Netbook with a DOS USB drive that I've worked on. I look back and have to think that that Compaq Desktop was my most productive GUI development machine, what was yours?
