trollyEnd of Asgard and Ondin : Renaissance of Q-Step
I decided to abandon the developement of Asgard and Ondin,
to work on the rewriting of Q-Step, Codename Renaissance

Q-Step will not be completely re-written resume , ill use some code from the other two.

No more VFS: Q-Step will now use Ondin's File selector Return of SCREEN12 with dithering for semi transparency Settings will be stored in a Catalog (like a registry) i'll keep Ondin Live! Services (chat, file sharing, mail,...) When the user log to the Ondin Live Service, the system store the SessionID, wich will be used by the chat and the file sharing system (the sessionID is sored until the user select "logout" from the chat. Network file Selector now work: you can select a file from the shared files, and it will download it to "outfile.tmp", then, the app can read it. To store a file to the network, the app save the work to "infile.tmp" , and the file selector will upload to the desired folder, with the desired name.   I plan to port Asgard's QML Browser Re-write a package manager to install/update/uninstall apps from the web Upcomming apps: Calendar Adress book Some games file manager any idea is welcome

Sounds like a good idea, Q-Step was always my favorite of your GUIs.

I plan also to make a Document Shelf: the user can drag a file from the file selector/manager to the shelf, it will make a link to the file. when the user drag the file from the shelf to an app, it open the file; and when he drag the file from the shelf to the file selector/manager, it will move the file a this location maybe, it will support Shared FileSystem

THe document ClipBoard is done in the file selector, the user can drag a file to the shelf after, he can drag the link from the shelf to the application work space, the app will detect this, and open the draged document Right click on an item in the ClipBoard will remove the entry from the shelf
