| Brandon | VacationOn the 23rd, 1 week from to day I leave for vacation. I am going to Walt Disney World: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney_World_Resort And will be back the 31st.While I am gone I don't plan to be here, unless I'm lucky and my mom lets me get on-line.

| Brandon | New Video CardI got my 6600 512MB today. Its made by some no name company, Forsa, but works great.
I haven't got Linux going with acceleration and everything quite yet but as soon as I do I'll compare.
Windows is working heres a cool chart:
Old Athlon: ATi HD2400 256MB PCIe
Core 2: nVidia 6200 256MB AGP
Expensive Dell: ATi X-something 256MB PCIe (note, GFX cards tests are dependent on CPU and this things CPU is half of the others)
New Athlon: The New 6600

| Brandon | Re:New Video CardOk know for Linux. I downloaded the ATi Linux drivers right from their site and with glxgears I get 286. With my new card and the official nvidia driver i get 3335. If you want to see what your system gets boot up a big name linux (not DCL,Puppy, or DSL) and type "glxgears" in the terminal.
