Brandon | Your Primary MachineMine is a laptop:
Gateway EC Series EC1433u
11.6" Screen (1366x768)
Intel Celeron 743 (1.3GHz)
2GB DDR2 677 RAM
250GB HDD
Intel GMA 4500MHD Graphics
Card Reader
Ubuntu 9.10 (works flawlessly)
I also have a desktop I use daily:
Custom
Cheiftec Case
BIOSTAR Mainboard
AMD Phenom X4 9650 2.3Ghz
4GB RAM (4x1GB DDR2 800)
250GB HDD
DVD-RW
Nvidia 6600 512MB PCIe Graphics
~19" Gateway LCD (1440x900)
I'm currently trying to sell the mainboard and cpu ($120 + s&h) so I can save up for a new mainboard/cpu with RAID.

Brandon | Re:Your Primary MachineThe 2GB in my laptop is overkill most of the time really. The only reason I have 4 in the desktop is for VMs. | 2010-02-05 | 3:53 PM |
SonicBrit | Re:Your Primary MachineYeah my RAM is overkill most of the time, but when you have 4 VM's running its useful | 2010-02-05 | 5:32 PM |

I have two PC's I use all the time.
Fujitsu Esprimo V6535 laptop
Pentium dual core 2.16 GHz
4 GB RAM
230 GB harddrive
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (which is, by far, the most awesome OS I've ever used)
And then I have my old desktop, which I use for all DOS things and programming:
300 MHz AMD CPU
128 MB RAM
2 GB harddrive
Sound Blaster 16 (a classic!)
Dual boot between MS-DOS 6.22 with Windows for Workgroups 3.11 and Windows NT 4.0 Workstation
I don't really use Windows NT anymore, I originally installed it to connect the computer to my home network and to get internet access, but I eventually managed to get all of that to work in Windows 3.11 too :cheer: | 2010-02-06 | 7:46 PM |
